What can I tell you about Alixx and Ryan? Our first meeting at a Starbucks you could tell Alixx was so excited about their wedding. As she described some of her ideas you could just see that their venue at The Rustic Wedding Barn in southern Manitoba was bang on, and was going to match their style perfectly! I love when all the pieces come together for my couples and their wedding really plays out to be exactly what they wanted! We met at Beaudry Provincial Park for their engagement sessions, Ryan had just gotten a new truck so we drove it down a dirt road and did some photos with it, then we headed down the field tree line for some really amazing sunset photos. This was the same time that there was a super moon, so as we walked back the moon was low and the sun was nearly gone and it was just magic! If you’d like to see their engagement session head here!

Going into their wedding the emotions were really high, especially with the kids. Their family was really being joined together and it was truly special!

Of wedding venues I’ve photographed at the most The Rustic Wedding Barn is probably one of the most, the owners who’ve taken over in the last couple of years have really outdone themselves and pushed this place to be really beautiful.
